Rochester King/Queen of the Court
Posted by: | CommentsHere is a blast from My Friend Nancy Miller in Rochester. Nancy has been tirelessly running the Rochester Adult Programs for as long as I can remember. Thanks Nancy!
King/Queen of the Court Summer League begins next Tuesday, June 1st, and will run Tuesday evenings, 6:00-9:00 PM, through the end of August, at the Rec Dept./Community Center. You do not need to be on a team to play in this league. Individual sign up, only.
This is an advanced recreational level league. Players should be equivalent to a Yankee C- rating, or higher. Previous high school, college or league/tournament experience recommended. No beginners, please.
The cost for this league is $45. Please make checks out to: City of Rochester.
Attached is a Recreation Dept. registration form. If you have not previously completed this form (this year), please print, fill out and bring with you the first night of league, along with your payment.
If you plan to play in this league, please send me an e-mail.

Locals Breezy Datti and Ashley Bruce win at Hunts Hill in 2009
From my friend at Hunt’s Hill Volleyball…
Can you almost feel the sand between your toes??
Just getting this blurb out to you quickly. I will have more details by 4/27 and registration will start on that date. I am getting inquiries every day now. We seem to have new teams/players involved, so that should make things interesting… as always!
Note: the women’s league will have two levels. I think [it] will accomodate more players and improve the parity in competition.
I will not be around to reply to emails for a bit, but you can write to me and I will get back to you later on.
Thanks!
John
