High School Beach Tournament

From our friend up North at Hunts Hill Volleyball:

Hi Everyone,

I am excited to announce the first high school girls beach volleyball tournament to be held in Maine! I wanted you to be among the first to know about it.

• Why: For the fun and competition of it! Also, as a fundraiser to purchase quality padding, an expense of over $1,000.
• Where: Our 3 sand courts in Gray.
• When: Sunday Aug. 2. Rain date is Sunday Aug. 9. You will need to arrive by 9:15 and it will begin at 9:30 and go until late afternoon. Playoffs could go later than that.
• Format: Round robin play in pools of probably 4 or 5 and then cross-pool playoffs.
• Teams: Can be composed of 3 JV, or less experienced players, or 2 varsity, or more experienced players. Girls entering 9th grade- girls just graduated are eligible.
• Registration: First come-first served; limited to the first 15 teams. Just find a partner, send your notice of interest to me via email, then follow that with a check. Make checks to John Razsa, send to 39 Hunts Hill Rd. Gray 04039 or deliver in person.
• Cost: for players = $20 if paid by July 29 and $25 after that day. Checks can be made to John Razsa.
